🐩 Poodle Rescues in Georgia
Checked October 1, 2026. Georgia residents have two in-state poodle-specific routes with different published information. Georgia Poodle Rescue has strict residence, distance, fence, and application rules; Mavroudis Poodle Rescue has a current official contact route but publishes less process detail.
Current adoption routes
Georgia Poodle Rescue
Applicants must be permanent Georgia residents and normally live within 1.5 hours of Alpharetta. The official policy requires applicants to be at least 25 and generally requires a private fenced yard attached to the home.
Mavroudis Poodle Rescue Inc.
The official contact page describes a local-shelter poodle-rescue mission and provides direct phone, email, and contact-form routes.
Carolina Poodle Rescue
This is not a Georgia rescue. Its official FAQ says applicants submit an application, references are checked, and approved adopters may be invited to the South Carolina rescue to meet dogs.
Prepare before applying
- Confirm that your permanent address and travel distance satisfy the selected rescue before applying.
- Read the individual dog profile for exceptions or additional household rules.
- Treat Mavroudis as a direct-contact lead until its current adoption terms are confirmed.
