Current adoption routes
Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue
SPDR forwards adoption applications to the volunteer representative for the selected breed. Its process says most representatives contact applicants within about a week, but breed representation and dog availability can change.
Puget Sound Poodle Club Rescue
The club publishes a rescue contact for poodle fostering, adoption, and rescue questions.
Prepare before applying
- Verify that SPDR currently lists a poodle breed representative before submitting its application.
- Ask the Puget Sound coordinator whether the opportunity is a club placement, foster placement, or referral.
- Request the individual dog’s medical and behavior records and the current adoption terms.
