J.W.

J.W. has spent more than eight years volunteering with poodle rescue organizations across the Southeast, personally facilitating the placement of over 200 standard and miniature poodles into permanent homes. He has studied canine behavior and temperament assessment through hands-on work with multiple rescue groups, and currently shares his home with two standard poodles he adopted from rescue. His writing on Poodles for Adoption is driven by a belief that adopters who understand poodle-specific traits — their intelligence, sensitivity, and need for engagement — are far better equipped to give a rescue poodle the life it deserves.
